“I absolutely loved my time at Wonders Pediatric Therapy! I learned so much from the best team ever! Debbie, Princess, and Nasjah, along with our COTAs Vida and Vanessa, were all so supportive and knowledgeable along my journey in learning more about Occupational Therapy. During my time here, I got to see our kids grow in so many ways, and watching their confidence build each week was incredible to watch. Being part of those small victories was truly the most rewarding part! Building relationships with the families made the experience even more special as we cheered their kids on together! I also gained so much hands on experience with note taking using OT terminology and developed a deep understanding of what occupational therapy looks like within pediatrics. The clinic is such a fun space to come into each day and it’s clear how much thought went into creating an environment where kids feel excited to participate. This experience 100% confirmed for me that I want to become an Occupational Therapist. I was so inspired by the creativity, compassion, and dedication this team brought every single day. I’m incredibly grateful for my time at Wonders Pediatric Therapy and will truly miss being part of such a special place!”

“Volunteering at Wonders Pediatric Therapy has been such a great way to gain insight into different OT settings. As an undergraduate, it can be difficult to find opportunities that allow you to truly get involved. At Wonders Pediatric Therapy, it’s a hands-on experience. Debbie will do everything in her power to give you the most comprehensive view of OT possible. Observing has been wonderful and has shown me how different approaches can be used to achieve the same goal depending on the child. However, taking notes and creating content has been the highlight. I not only had the opportunity to contribute to Wonders Pediatric Therapy’s mission, but also was able to enrich my own understanding of the tools and techniques OTs employ to help children reach their OT goals. Volunteering here has been a valuable experience and has solidified my desire to pursue a career in occupational therapy!”
