We made our favorite animals during OT! We looked up pictures for inspiration, then planned out the steps, and gathered materials we needed to build each part.

It might look like just crafting, but this activity is packed with executive functioning skills like planning, sequencing, and problem-solving. These are the skills kids need to:
🔹 Get organized
🔹 Follow multi-step directions
🔹 Focus and stay on task
🔹 Flexibly adjust when things don’t go as planned

Pair that with fine motor practice (cutting, gluing, building), and you’ve got a powerhouse of learning through play! 🐻🦜🐢
